What services are offered by the Flexible Support Program?
All students are allowed to utilize the program.
Students, grades 5-8, spend as much time as needed in the program on any given day with the goal of following their academic schedule to the greatest extent possible.
The Flexible Support Program at PVC is staffed by a Special Education teacher and a classroom aide.
Counseling is embedded into the program and is provided on an individual basis as needed.
The program supports both classified and non-classified students.
Some students are scheduled to come to participate in the program.
Students are provided with the opportunity to complete missing work and/or to receive support with current classwork.
Supplemental instruction materials are available to meet individual academic student needs.
The staff maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders, i.e., student's teachers, parents, guidance counselors
Who is eligible for the Flexible Support Program?
Parents who feel their child is appropriate for this program should contact their child's school counselor for more information. Once a student is deemed appropriate for the program, a meeting will be set up with the stakeholders.
